He has held pivotal positions across major departments including Forest, Excise & Taxation, Health & Family Welfare, Horticulture, and Jal Shakti Vibhag—progressing from Section Officer to Assitant Controller, Deputy Controller, Joint Controller, and finally Controller. His expertise spans public financial management, government auditing, and development finance, with significant roles in externally aided projects like the HP Shiva Project (Asian Development Bank) and the Horticulture Development Project (World Bank).

His professional insights are further enhanced by international training programs conducted by the World Health Organization (2018, Lucknow) and the Ministry of Finance (2023, Kolkata), as well as multiple certifications from the Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Shimla.Academically, he holds an M.A. in English, an M.A. in Economics, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism & Mass Communication.
